Gold Wedding frenzy...

Just found out my lil cousin is getting married!!!
She was ready to just have a small civil court wedding.

But I suggested she have a nice lil backyard wedding.
Which both bride and groom
LOVED :)

So, small wedding for 75 people
with ceremony & reception
in backyard.
Color scheme gold.
OH, did i forget to mention the date
January 2nd, 2010

YES!!! January 2nd!!!
I must be CRAZY... cuz I am officially in
WEDDING FRENZY mode!!!

I feel like I've bought everything Gold
I could find the past two days
in Target, Michaels & Joann's

Guests...check
Tables and chairs...check
linens...check
food...check
cake...check
decorations...check
favors...check

Wish me luck putting the wedding together :)

Baking Diva

I have a Baking Diva in the house.
Let me start by telling you that
I have NO cooking skills at all, and
NO calling to cooking...LOL



My Ari, who is 12 years old has been on a baking marathon!!!
And enjoying it at that, who would have known.
She must take after her grandma.
Yup my mom is an amazing cook.
One of those cooks that has no recipes, nothing written down,
it's all a little bit of this, and a little bit of that :)
Now there's hope that my daughter will learn her
grandma's recipes :)

Lola B posted last night this recipe for Bliss Bars...
and when I got home from work, look what was waiting for me :)
I am so blessed!!!

Dealer Christmas Party.

The party kicked off with a great
dealer potluck...yummmm :)

The fun was under way with a
Treasure Hunt!!!
Yes, a treasure hunt in an Antique Mall!!!
How crazy is that!!!
10 items were hidden through out the mall.
All treasures were found and prizes won!!!

We all had a side aching, laugh till you drop time
with the infamous
White Elephant Gift Exchange!
Never in my life had I seen such creative junk gifts!!!
I had never participated in a White Elephant,
I didn't know what to give or what to expect.
My gift was so blah, nice but blah, compared to the
toilet paper snowman or the chocolate covered crickets...
next year I won't be bringing Christmas Cd's.

A great time was had by all, but as if that wasn't enough
Chad and Jana
handed each of their dealers a
Gift Certificate for Treasures N Junk.
Remember I am shopper first :)

I found this great set of four
vintage lamps... a complete set!!!
2 hanging, a table and a desk lamp
and they all work!!!

Just added them to my booth #112
at Riverside Galleria.
