Thought & Prayer

I would have loved to post some pictures of
my latest treasures.

But this post is about the doctor's visit with
one of my 3 greatest treasures.
My youngest daughter.

My lil one,
who will be 11 next month,
was supposed to have a follow up
doctor visit
with some vaccines.
Simply enough, right???

Well, let me back up to last week.
We were in
last week cuz she had a horrible cough
and doctor wanted to her
to come back for a routine follow up.
And since she should have been better,
she was going to get a physical & vaccines
to make good use of the doctor visit.

Well she got her physical,
but since her peak flow
was so low,
she had to take two puffs
of her inhaler,
in hopes that this would do the trick.
But it didn't.

She had to have a breathing treatment :(

Thanks goodness this helped!!!
But not to say we walked out
with two more prescriptions.

How much can a little girl take.
She's exhausted.
She's now on pulmicort, proventil
and phednisolone.

I believe in the strength of prayer.
So I ask to keep her in
thought & prayer.

Thank you blog friends.

  1. I am so sorry to hear about your sweets... and YES prayer does work... but still it is hard to see our little ones so defenceless. I have said a prayer for you and your baby girl. I hope your Wednesday is a better day for you.

    Smiles,

  3. I'm so sorry to hear about your poor baby. I've had asthma most of my life and know how it is. Hang in there sweetie, you'll make it through! Has she had a chest x-ray? The last time I was that bad (years ago) it was viral phneumonia. Just worth mentioning. I'm sure you've covered all the bases. Sounds like she's on all the correct meds and hopefully well on the way to recovery.
Praying that she will feel better soon!

  4. Thank You for your warm thoughts. Looks like the medication is working. Just a lil strong on her tummy, but she's trooper.
